About CourtClub
Courtclub was born from a deep fascination with tennis. Not just the sport itself, but the world around it - the quiet mornings on court, the elegance of a well-fitted polo, the calm of watching from the stands, the rhythm of post-match dinners and slow afternoons. A lifestyle built not on performance, but presence.
Founded at 21 by former professional player Mattes Wobbeler, the brand began as a personal expression of two lifelong passions: tennis and clothing. Born in Hamburg and shaped by years on the ITF circuit and college courts, Mattes experienced the sport from the inside. The time spent in airports, hotel rooms, and practice sessions became a lens through which style and sport naturally intertwined.
Courtclub reflects an aesthetic rooted in tradition, but always in conversation with the present. Timeless silhouettes. Refined materials. Modern details that honor tennis heritage while embracing contemporary taste.
What started as a visual diary evolved organically - first worn by friends, then by pro players. The brand grew through a US Open pop-up, collaborations with icons, and store placements in New York, Marbella, and Hamburg. Each piece still speaks to the original idea: tennis is more than a sport.
Courtclub reflects a quiet kind of luxury for those who know that style isn’t about what you wear to the game, but how you carry yourself through it.
